Surroundings of Pozo Azul
The surroundings of the house is rural. People live
mainly of agriculture and stock breeding. They
still use the "ossekar", the symbol of Costa Rica.
In the town, 2 catering industry occasions, 2
soccer fields, a church, 3 stores, communal place,
and a rodeostadion are situated. In town there is
a possibility to send faxes. In Pozo Azul live
approximately 500 people.

In the direct surroundings you'll find Rio Lagarto
(where you can swim in the fall of a small
waterfall), Las Piscinas (thermal baths), Volcansito
(a vukanic bump in the woods where warm water
comes from) and a small town with a rich gold
history called Las Juntas. The nearest beach
(Playa Blanca) is only a 30 minutes ride away!

Something further of town, good reachable from
Pozo Azul, lie Monteverde, Vulcan Arenal,
Puntarenas, Liberia, the beaches near Playa de
Coco, Rincon de la Vieja, Manuel Antonio, Rio
Tempisque and the nature park Paloverde. If you
